Static text fields are not like document fields because the text cannot be edited when filling out the document. They are used to add field titles and decriptions to the style.

Any of the following borders can be placed around a text field:

• Box
• Shadow
• Paised
• Lowered

Printable

A Static Text Field can be Printable or Non-Printable. Printable objects show on the screen and on the printouts. Non-Printable objects only show up on the screen and are not printed. See Setting the Printable Property
