Defaulting Fields and columns to company values

The default value for Style fields and Table column can be set to a company value. This is handy to do when you have multiple styles that all need to use a common value. Below are the steps to do this.

Step 1 For table columns start in the General Properties Tab for the column and select "Company Value" from the Default Value dropdown.

For Styles Fields start by selecting the field in the Fields Window and select "Company Value" from the Default Value dropdown.

Step 2 The Company Details window will appear.

Step 3 Select the company detail value you want to default this field to. Make sure if you are linking a text field the company detail value it also a text value. And then click OK.

Notes

You can add new company values in the Company Details screen by clicking "New".
