How do I add a permanent comment to a document?
If you wish to add a permanent comment onto a document Invoice please follow these steps.
- Open an existing document and go into the "Design View" by clicking the Design View button in the top left hand corner of the screen.
- Select the A " Add Text Field" from the top toolbar.
- Position the mouse (Crosshairs) onto the document where you want to place the text and then click.
- Resize the text field to suit the document by dragging the handles surrounding the field.
- Fine tune the placement of the field by dragging it with the mouse or using the arrow keys to move it into position.
- Double click onto the field to select the text then type your comment. Note: The field will have to be sized correctly to fix all the text you enter.
- Then click the Back button to go back into Data Entry View and save the changes.
Note: If you wish to have a line of text which is bolded or different from the other lines create a new text field for each line then click the Bold button on the toolbar.
