How do I add a permanent comment to a document?

If you wish to add a permanent comment onto a document Invoice please follow these steps.

  1. Open an existing document and go into the "Design View" by clicking the Design View button in the top left hand corner of the screen.
  2. Select the A " Add Text Field" from the top toolbar.
  3. Position the mouse (Crosshairs) onto the document where you want to place the text and then click.
  4. Resize the text field to suit the document by dragging the handles surrounding the field.
  5. Fine tune the placement of the field by dragging it with the mouse or using the arrow keys to move it into position.
  6. Double click onto the field to select the text then type your comment. Note: The field will have to be sized correctly to fix all the text you enter.
  7. Then click the Back button to go back into Data Entry View and save the changes.

Note: If you wish to have a line of text which is bolded or different from the other lines create a new text field for each line then click the Bold button on the toolbar.
