My computer has crashed and I have to re-install. How do I restore all my saved data?

Saved data will re-appear once you have re-installed Invoice2go and restored your data from a backup.

To restore your files from an Invoice2go backup please do the following steps:

  1. Re-install Invoice2go to your computer. Click here for instructions on installing and re-registering Invoice2go.
  2. Open the Invoice2go Backup & Restore Wizard. Click on Start -> All Programs -> Invoice2go -> Launch Backup & Restore Wizard.
  3. Click on 'Restore my Working Folder to an earlier time' and select Next.
  4. Browse to the folder where your Backup File is saved. This may be on a CD or Flash Drive that you have previously created a Backup on. An Invoice2go backup file will have the .i2b file extension.
  5. Select the Most Recent Restore Point and click Next

  6. Select the Most Recent Restore Point for your Invoice2go company file

  7. Choose the Restore into the current Working Folder to overwrite the existing Company Files (use this option when no other Companies have been created in Invoice2go).
  8. Choose the Restore into a different Folder option to save the Backup in a different location (use this option if there are already Companies created by Invoice2go).

  9. Replace or Create a New Invoice2go company file for your backup

  10. Click Finish to Begin to Restore option. If sucessful you will see the Restoration Complete dialog.

  11. Your Invoice2go company file restored successfully
  12. To open your restored Company just restart Invoice2go. If you have multiple companies just click the restored Company Name.
